In the midst of a symphonic journey, he received his second Grammy for an orchestral accompaniment that breathed new life into Leonard Bernstein’s “Lonely Town.”

As a soloist and with his jazz trio, Alan’s virtuosity was celebrated and earned him Grammy nominations and awards alongside jazz legends such as Herbie Hancock and Sonny Rollins.
